With YOUR help Beacon of Hope is able to provide weekly food assistance for roughly 1,700 low-income families each month, distributing upwards of 56,000 pounds of food to those in need every month.

In 2026, Beacon has seen an average of 90 NEW households enrolling in our for food assistance programs each month, representing a 114% increase over the 2025 average of 42 new households enrolling each month.

Beacon of Hope is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; contributions made to our organization are tax deductible.

Other Donations

  • Food Donations

    Beacon will gladly accept all types of shelf stable foods, as well as fresh, refrigerated, and frozen food that are safe for consumption. We also accept non-food items such as paper products, cleaning supplies, and health and beauty aids

    We are unable to accept prepared foods, homemade goods, items that have been opened or have damaged packaging, and/or items without nutritional labels.

  • Thrift Store Donations

    Beacon’s Thrift Store gladly accepts donations of like new and gently used clothing, bedding, small appliances, pet supplies, and kitchenware, and household items.

    Donations can be dropped off between 10am-5pm, Wednesday-Sunday. Please check in with a staff member before leaving a donation.

    Please do not leave donations after hours.

  • Time & Expertise

    We LOVE our volunteers! Whether you want to lend a hand in the food pantry or thrift store, connect and help others in your community, or maybe you have other skills you would like to offer, let us know!
