Grand Opening of Pantry’s Expanded Space
Beacon of Hope was providing weekly food assistance to 1,700 families each month!! To better serve our community, we expanded our client choice shopping space & created an indoor waiting area for families coming to receive assistance to wait out of the elements. Our food pantry expanded into the space that previously housed our thrift store after our thrift store had the opportunity to move to downtown Marshall. This dramatically cut down on wait time for our pantry clients and helped us continue to meet the increasing need in our community.

After the thrift store moved out of their space at 5111 everyone quickly jumped into action to get the empty space ready for our expanded pantry!
